DC Lupus Consortium @ NIH

I was invited by @NIH @NIAMS staff to participate in the 2nd Annual DC Lupus Consortium  @NIH. I had no idea what to expect. All I knew was there would be a good chance that I knew a good amount of physicians at this meeting, because they had either examined me or were familiar with my very, very, large medical file.📁📂  This would be the first time a Patient Advocate would have been invited. And of course, for something as monumental as this, I HAD to invite my girl  +Tiffany Marie Peterson  . I KNEW if NIH wanted some patient insight, SHE would have something to say!!  The meeting was informative. A lot of information I had already been made aware of directly from my @NIAMS team, but there were a couple of Lupus related studies I didn't know that were active. There was an exercise and Lupus study determining how much fatigue was a factor for SLE patients. And how that affected their ability to exercise and their exercise regiment. Dr. Lewandowski....
